About the Stipend Opportunity
The Massachusetts Technical Assistance Center for Problem Gambling Treatment (M-TAC) is offering a stipend of $250 to conference participants to support expenses related to conference attendance. The stipend can be used to cover the conference registration fee, staff time, and travel expenses.
Applicants must register for the conference and receive confirmation of registration before applying for the stipend opportunity.
Full-day attendance (9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and completion of an honorarium form will be required. Stipends will be distributed following the conference, by June 30th.
This annual conference, hosted by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, offers participants an opportunity to learn about the many ways to limit and mitigate the harmful impacts of problem gambling and related issues on individuals, families, and communities.
The conference will provide a space for authentic discussion and dialogue, where individuals with lived experience and individuals with professional expertise can continue to advance the public health response.

Who can participate?
- Professionals working for Massachusetts-based organizations who are interested in learning more about problem gambling treatment and recovery.
- Applicants must register to attend the conference.
- If needed, priority will be given to new recipients.
- Please note, Commonwealth of Massachusetts employees are not eligible to receive the stipend.
