Acceptable Use and Protection of Learner Information
M‑TAC provides training, technical assistance, certification, and continuing education services that may require users to access secure systems or submit information.

By using the Site or registering for trainings or events, you agree that you will not:

  • Access learner records or training systems without authorization
  • Download, copy, scrape, or redistribute learner or participant information
  • Use learner information for purposes unrelated to approved program activities
  • Attempt to bypass security controls or interfere with system operations

Learner information, including records related to Continuing Education Units (CEUs), is confidential and protected. Unauthorized access to or misuse of learner information is prohibited and may result in termination of access, revocation of credentials, or other administrative or legal action.

Learner Record Integrity
Learner records maintained by M‑TAC constitute official documentation of participation, assessment, completion, and awarding of CEUs. Users may not attempt to alter, falsify, manipulate, or misrepresent learner records or training outcomes.

Any activity that compromises the integrity of learner records is prohibited and may result in corrective action, including loss of access to services or credentials.

HRiA Training Environment Code of Conduct and Anti-Discrimination Policy 
HRiA is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all learners, participants, instructors, and subject matter experts involved in our programs. We value diverse perspectives and are dedicated to maintaining programs free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. 

HRiA does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, age, national origin, color, marital status, disability, political beliefs, height, weight, genetic information, or sexual orientation. This policy applies to all individuals participating in HRiA’s continuing education and training (CE/T) programs. 

Prohibited Conduct 
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited: 

  • Derogatory comments, slurs, or “jokes” targeting protected characteristics of individuals or groups. 
  • Bullying, intimidation, or creating a hostile learning environment. 
  • Excluding individuals from activities or learning opportunities. 
  • Intentionally using a name or pronouns in a way that is meant to demean, harass or create a hostile environment. 

Accommodation 
HRiA is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to learners and participants with disabilities to support full participation, unless doing so would create an undue hardship. 

Reporting Concerns 
Individuals who experience or witness discrimination, harassment, or retaliation should report it promptly using this link. All complaints will be handled as confidentially as possible. 

Non-Retaliation 
HRiA strictly prohibits retaliation against any learner or participant who, in good faith, reports a concern or takes part in an investigation. 

Consequences of Violations 
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the training program without refund and may include a ban from future HRiA events or programs.


Information Security and Governance
M‑TAC is a program of Health Resources in Action (HRiA) and operates under HRiA’s enterprise‑wide privacy, information security, and risk‑management policies. Users interacting with M‑TAC systems and services agree to comply with applicable security and acceptable‑use requirements intended to protect sensitive and learner‑related information.

Access to parts of the Site or related systems may be restricted or monitored as necessary to support security, compliance, and system integrity.


Privacy Policy
Any information submitted through the Site is subject to M‑TAC’s Privacy Policy, which describes how personal and learner information is collected, used, safeguarded, and disclosed. By using the Site or submitting information, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
